The ever amazing Floyd truly had the 200,000 hyde park croud (not to mention the huge  television audience) in awe as they ran through 4 hits at the recent Live 8 show. Breathe, money, wish you were here and the fantastic comfortably numb were the songs they chose to perform in what i can only descibe as the best 18 minutes of television i have ever seen! before wish you were here started, waters told how the song was dedicated to everyone who wasnt there, with a special mention for the founder of pink floyd, syd barrett.

i cannot begin to describe how good they were! they were awesome! credit to the other bands too, it was, the greatest show the world has seen.

figures show that all the acts on the live 8 london bill were rewarded with huge album boosts (well except pete doherty`s, theres always one!), however, pink floyds proved to have had the greatest boost, with the wall album sales soaring by 3,600%!! gilmor, however, has stated publicly that the profits he will receive are going straight to charity, good man!

 

 

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away 2 dental fans named crazy dave and luke stumbled across this website. They loved it! they wanted to be a part of it, (preferably the dental fans page).
